I had the amazing luck to photograph AND create video for this beautiful family from The Blue Mountains, Ontario. This emotive slow motion video is what I prefer to call a Moving Portrait. That’s because it’s somewhere in between a still portrait and full movie.
We froze many beautiful moments as still images, but we also set aside some time for a few minutes of video to create this Moving Portrait. Kelly and Craig Cescon, and their two beautiful boys were relaxed and playful, allowing me to preserve and curate this keepsake for them.
We didn’t just stop time that evening, we slowed it down a bit, for them to look back on forever!
I love offering a mix of both traditional still images as well as the Moving Portrait to my client families. The flexibility of having both kinds of mementos is one of the main features on my session collections. You, as my client, are free to purchase a moving portrait or not. Most of my collections offer this as an optional add-on. You can decide to purchase it after seeing a preview, so there is no risk or pressure. It’s entirely up to you!
Below are some of the gorgeous still images we caught that early evening. Kelly was wearing one of the skirts available through my client closet. (Access to my client closet is complimentary with some of my collections).
The fall weather is nearly upon us and there are only a handful of warm sunny evenings like this one left in the year. If this gallery and Moving Portrait speak to you and you’re ready to book, you can secure one of the remaining dates by clicking here.
Or if you’d rather peruse a little more, check out my Family page for a few other highlights from previous sessions, read what my amazing clients have to say, and get to know me a little better and see if we’re a good fit.
