Studio sessions usually take two to three hours, as we work through a few different positions and wraps, based on your chosen package, your selected styling preferences, and baby's needs throughout the session. Every pose is done with safety in mind and baby is never placed a precarious position.
Studio session time slots are popular and likewise more limited. Sessions start at $550 with only $150 required at booking. Scroll down for more details or click "book now" to view my availability and reserve your date - I recommend booking a week past your due date.

The Collingwood Studio Newborn Experience
You’ll receive clear prep instructions so you know exactly what to expect before arriving at the studio. Sessions take place in my quiet, soothing studio space, designed for yours and your baby's comfort and safety.
The studio is stocked with neutral wraps and timeless props, and sessions move fully at your newborn’s pace, with time for feeding, soothing, and breaks.
After your session, you’ll receive your gorgeous gallery and a straightforward ordering process, with the option to purchase high-quality prints and products.

It's definitely not too early! I often book out several weeks in advance, so it's far better to get a session secured before your baby is here. Because I take on a limited number of these sessions each month, it's important to book your date as early as possible.
Not sure what date to book? Just book for one week after your due date! We'll adjust as needed, when baby arrives.

My dedicated home studio is located in Collingwood, Ontario. It's equipped with all the props and accessories needed for your little one's session. I keep my cozy space warm and comfortable for your baby and everything is thoroughly cleaned between sessions.
> WHERE IS YOUR STUDIO Located?
Babies rarely arrive on their exact due date. For this reason I always suggest booking your session for one week past your due date. This is a tentative date and we will adjust it once baby arrives.
Since I only take on a limited number of newborn sessions each month, there is always wiggle room in my calendar to account for the unpredictable nature of childbirth.
> WHAT IF MY BABY IS BORN EARLY/LATE?
While I am often booked out a few weeks in advance, it never hurts to reach out and ask! On occasion I get cancellations or rescheduled sessions, so please contact me to see if I have some space to squeeze in a session for you.
Even if baby is a little older than that ideal "14 days new" window we can still achieve a beautiful gallery for you.

Ideally, your little one should be between 5 and 14 days old for their session. Babies at this age are much more sleepy, curly, and much more easily posed into those adorable poses you see in my images.
When booking, select a session time slot about one week after your due date and we will adjust this after baby is born.
Beyond 14 days we can still do a session, and we can absolutely still achieve a gorgeous gallery for you, but we may rely a little more on wrapped poses as babies at this age tend to stay awake longer. This age group will often also present with baby acne so the earlier we can get your little one in, the better!
> WHAT AGE SHOULD BABY BE FOR A STUDIO NEWBORN SESSION?
Absolutely! Parents and siblings are always welcome and can be included in these sessions, if you wish.
Although my studio is small and cozy, we can still create warm and intimate portraits of your little one with you and your immediate family, much like those you see in my portfolio.
If siblings are involved, I recommend we conduct the family/sibling portion of our session first. Once that's done, I suggest a spouse or grandparent take them to the playground, daycare, home, etc., when possible, while we finish the session just with baby.
