Baby H was my first studio newborn session since Covid-19 restrictions were eased for photographers here in Ontario. So with great excitement I welcomed Baby H and her family into my home studio. Naturally, I followed every precaution and recommendation for my industry to ensure the safety of my tiny client and her family. (Read more about some of the health & safety measures I’ve put in place here).
I couldn’t have wished for a better model! Baby H was calm, content, and slept through most of the session. She opened her eyes just enough to create a few beautiful open eyed portraits like the one below.
Mom wanted earth toned neutrals with elements of a forest theme, to fit with the look of the nursery. While I keep my newborn work fairly simple, I do love customizing my newborn sessions because the finished gallery is that much more personal to my client families. This also challenges me to create new composite images (custom digital art pieces created by blending two or more images together for a magical result, which I offer in some of my collections).
I loved working with Baby H and her family! Check out a few more highlights from her session below (she even gave us a few smiles!).
